Setup Guide
TV Express is a BYO (Bring Your Own) player. Follow the steps below to connect your source.
Option A: Add an M3U Playlist URL
- Open TV Express and tap "Add Source" on the home screen.
- Select "M3U URL".
- Paste your M3U playlist URL (must be a direct link ending in .m3u or .m3u8).
- Tap "Connect". The app will load your channels, movies, and series.
Option B: Add Xtream Codes / Server Credentials
- Open TV Express and tap "Add Source".
- Select "Server URL".
- Enter your server URL, username, and password provided by your source.
- Tap "Connect". The app will authenticate and load your content.
Tips for Best Performance
- Use a stable Wi-Fi connection for smooth streaming.
- Ensure your M3U URL is a direct link, not a shortened or redirect URL.
- If content does not load, verify your credentials with your provider.
- Enable hardware decoding in Settings for better performance on older devices.

No account is required. Open the app and go straight to the source entry screen. Any local data like favorites is stored only on your device.
First, confirm the URL is correct and accessible in a browser. Check that your network allows the connection. If using Xtream credentials, verify the server URL, username, and password with your provider.
No. All data including favorites, continue-watching, and parental settings is stored locally on your device. Credentials are not persisted by default after the app closes.
Go to Settings > Parental Controls inside the app. Set a 4-digit PIN to lock categories or restrict playback. The PIN is stored locally on your device.
Troubleshooting
- Buffering: Lower the stream quality in player settings or switch to a faster network.
- Black screen: Try toggling hardware decoding in Settings > Playback.
- Audio out of sync: Pause and resume the stream, or restart the app.
- App crashes: Ensure iOS is updated to the latest version. Restart your device and reopen the app.
